This month’s chosen candle was inspired by everyone’s favourite national holiday. Christmas of course! This warm and inviting “Happy Holiday’s” Scent has been inspired by the memories Mark made on his trip to Sydney. Mark visited the Vibrant Pacific city in January, just after the festivities. Let this wonderful invigorating woody accord fill your home with warmth this Christmas.
Inspiration taken from Sydney
Mark claims there where so many places and scents that he remembers from his wonderful time ins Sydney. Strolling through the beautiful Botanic Garden Is one of them, the perfect place to spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon. However, one of the main inspirations taken from Marks holiday to Sydney where the invigorating scents he experienced whilst on the famous Mosman to Manly bush walk. The 10km coastal trail helps those to discover scenic bushland, picturesque bays and amazing views of the famous Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Mark was inspired by many of the scents he experienced particularly Eucalyptus, earthy grassy woodlands, and the dry pine native forests. These became the main body scents of his Sydney Candle, a sweet and woody accord with his top notes being of Eucalyptus laying on a base of precious woods. The perfect blend which associates itself well with notes from the festive season including, Pine, Firr, Christmas tree and subtle earthy notes.
Memories made in Sydney
Mark Describes Sydney as the Jewel of the South Pacific. If one word can sum up a city, the word describing Sydney is diversity. This is a green & gold city of culture, an ethnic blend with superb shopping, herb rich restaurants and diverse beautiful fresh experiences. The final inspiration Mark had and needed to create his Sydney Candle. Supporting the Eucalyptus and his base of precious woods he added a rich opulent amber. Mirroring the cities culture and ethnicities before finally leading to Zesty lemon resting on a warm heart of spice. The perfect way to intertwine the rich restaurants in Sydney and the beautiful fresh experiences he witnessed and created. Finally, the Syndey candle was complete, made with memories and inspiration. Helping customer to reminisce their own Australian holiday memories. Or even evoking memories and emotions in anticipation of the Christmas Holiday festivities.
