HERAKLION – Summer/Autumn Fragrance

GRECIAN ORANGE GROVE

A sweet, floral accord with sparkling top notes of lemon verbena and aromatic green olive. Sitting, drawn by the welcome shade of their trees, listening to the singing of the Cicadas under the hot Cretan sun. This Mediterranean Summer fragrance leads to a heart of sweet orange blossom which rests on a base of rich woods.

My Travel Memories:

I was just a young boy of eighteen when my week’s holiday turned into a 4-month wonderful mini adventure. Finding myself a job in the beautiful fishing village of Agios Nikolaos on the eastern side of the island. Crete the birthplace of Zeus in Greek mythology, its deep blue Mediterranean, Aegean, Ionian, and Libyan seas caressing the clean crisp beaches, how my memory wanders back to sitting under palm trees on the golden sands of Vai beach…Who wouldn’t have wanted to stay?
